Re-IDÉE

The circular furniture program. Every IDÉE piece is made to be re-turned, re-furbished, and re-used.

The program

The Re-IDÉE is an optional enrolment program offered at checkout — for an additional 5–7% of its price. It locks a guaranteed buy-back schedule for ten years: 90% of the original price at year one, 70% at year five, 50% at year ten.

When you choose to return the piece — at any of those checkpoints — we collect it from your home, refurbish it in our workshop, and record every restoration in its service log. The piece is re-listed under Re-IDÉE for its second use.

Why it matters

Re-IDÉE is the reason an IDÉE piece is worth its price.

It is also the reason the studio exists in the way it does — every piece we design must be built to be re-used and re-owned.

The trade-in value - example

The trade-in value is printed on your receipt. Guaranteed for ten years.

Year 0 — 48,000 EGP. Purchase price.

Year 5 — 33,600 EGP. Guaranteed trade-in.

Year 10 — 24,000 EGP. Guaranteed trade-in.

How it works

1. Bring your piece back — or we collect it.

2. We refurbish it in-studio with original materials.

3. It's listed as 'Re-IDÉE' at a lower price, with the same lifetime guarantee.

The journey

Four steps across ten years. Enrol once, own the piece, return it, pass it on.

01 — Enrol

At the point of sale, the customer has an optional add-on of 5–7% of the piece. Locks a buy-back value schedule for ten years. (Day 0)

02 — Own

The piece lives with the first owner. The Maintenance Kit keeps it in service; the Lifetime Kit records every entry. (Years 1–7)

03 — Return

The owner brings the piece back — or IDÉE collects. The enrolment card and service log travel with it. (Year 5, 7, or 10)

04 — Pass on

Offered to a second owner at 50–70% of original. Full provenance — first owner, years lived — passes with it. (+30 days)

Documentation

Every Re-IDÉE piece carries three records — from the day it is first bought to the day it begins its second life.

Enrolment Card

At purchase. Printed at the point of sale: names the piece, the first purchase date, and the locked buy-back schedule.

Inspection Report

At return. Every piece returning to our studio is inspected across three categories: structural, surface, upholstery.

Second-Use Certificate

At second owner. Issued to the new owner at delivery. Carries the ownership chain — everyone the piece has ever lived with.
